Mounting
Guide
On the top mount block, there's a circle that's used to hang your fine art print.
It's located directly in the middle which makes measuring easy.
Step 1: Identify where you'd like to hang your print.
Step 2: Using gloves, gently hold the print against the wall, outline the top of the print with a pencil, making a straight line.
Step 3: Take a ruler and align it with the line you just created. Make sure the beginning of the line and the beginning of the ruler are aligned, with the ruler slightly below the line so you can accurately mark the midpoint.
Step 4: This next step depends on what size print you have.
- For 12x18 prints, you're going to mark the midpoint at 6 inches.
- For 16x24 prints, you're going to mark the midpoint at 8 inches.
- For 24x36 prints, you're going to mark the midpoint at 12 inches.
- The midpoint will align with the nail hole on the top mount block.
Step 5: From the marked midpoint, take a ruler and measure down 2 inches, then mark another midpoint. The new midpoint will align with the exact placement of the nail hole, as it sits about 2 inches below the top of the print.
Step 6: Take a nail and puncture the new midpoint. Hold the nail in place while gently screwing to ensure a straight install.
Step 7: Take the print and align the nail hole with nail in the wall. The nail should go inside the circle.
Step 8: Gently place a level on top of the print, in the middle. Grab both bottom corners with your index finger, and carefully move the print back and forth until it’s perfectly straight.
Step 9: Carefully remove the level and enjoy your new fine art print.
